Here is a clock that I made at Tami's house last week. We had a lot of fun making it. I always have a lot of fun at Tami's house. We just let our hair down and act crazy. I uses the new pattern paper from the new summer mini on the clock. I painted it and it looks like river rock. I hope you enjoy looking as much as I enjoyed making it.

Hi everyone. I had my monthly card class yesterday. We had 19 women. Lots of fun was had.
They made the easter bunny which I had posted earlier and 5 cards. They loved the cards. I have such a good group of ladies that come. I also really missed the ones that couldn't come. They learned the faux silk tech which I cased from melissa sahm a fellow demo. Thanks Melissa for the idea. The blue and burgandy one and the Not quite navy one use the new paper and stamp set Four frames that will be coming out in the July catalog. SU is letting customers to buy it now with a $20 purchase. My ladies are really happy about that. Thanks for looking at my blog.

Retreat

Just got back from a weekend retreat that my daughter and I do twice a year. I teach stamping and scrapping and my niece teaches tole painting and painting on t-shirts. I had 15 ladies that made 5 cards and easter bunny baskets (52 of them). It was so much fun.
There was a lot of cooking done. My recipe was Chili Rellano Casserole.
Ingredients:
Eggs 12
Garlic Powder 2 tsps.
Cumin 1 tsp
Salt
Pepper to taste
6 tsps. flour mixed with 1/3 cup milk
chili ortega--2 small cans diced
grated cheese 1/2 lb.
I like to put in some hot spice for a kick
Prepare:
Beat first 5 items till blended. Add milk mixture. Fold in half the chese. Fold in two cans of ortega chili. Grease oblong cake pan. Pour in mixture. Put rest of cheese on top.
Bake 350 degreese for about 40 minutes or till knife comes out clean.
When I take this to a pot luck I like to cook it in a cookie sheet and then it can be cut into small pieces to eat as finger food.

My daughter painted Uncle Sam and a t-shirt for my great grandson Mason that had tigger with his name on it.
It came out really cute.
